Regardless of what your personal situation may be, trust me, you are not alone. There are millions of us, people just like you, just like me, struggling through the day, searching for answers to problems that often seem insurmountable but which, in reality, can be solved by making a few changes to how we live our lives.

And there is an answer for all of these problems. There are millions of people waiting to help you solve your particular problem, to share with you their experiences and their solutions.

To be extraordinary isn’t about super human achievement. It’s about the little things that make each and every one of us special. It’s about working on the daily tasks, the often ignored or neglected skills that on their own don’t appear to add up to much but when put together, can make a huge difference in the quality of our lives.

This can be anything from the way we think about something or someone, to the way we deal with a crisis.

It can mean learning a new skill, brushing off an old one, getting up earlier in the morning or going to bed earlier at night.

But whatever it means to you, there is one thing we all need to do to make it happen.

When it comes to making changes in our lives, the place to start is within our own minds. It’s why this site is called IQMastery, because the first thing we need to do on our journey to success is to master our own mind.

It’s amazing how many of us neglect the lump of gray matter that sits on our shoulders. We’ll run on the treadmill, pump iron like Arnie, do aerobics in Jane Fonda leotards and hundreds of other physically demanding activities but when it comes to our minds, we’d rather watch television and vegetate.

Success, starts in the mind. Regardless of where you think you are in terms of intelligence, I can assure you that you have more than enough intelligence to begin making the most of your life. The challenge you face is making the most of what you’ve got.

Whether you want to increase your IQ or EQ, the beginning is the same. The Three F’s.


It’s a simple formula.

Fuel: You feed your body and mind the fuel they need to perform to their best.

Fire. You fire up your neurons by deliberately focusing on your task or goal.

Fan. You fan the fire through exercise both physical and mental.
